Generous appointments that look at the whole visual system, not just the chart, whether it is your first visit or your fiftieth.
Adult eye consultation
A thorough look at your vision and eye health, tailored to how you read, work, and live day to day. We check your prescription and screen for common conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration.
Child eye consultation
Gentle, play-led testing built for young patients. No reading required, so even the youngest children can be assessed comfortably, with an eye on the visual skills that support learning.
Contact lenses
For life without the glasses.
Popular with young professionals, students and anyone active who would rather leave the glasses at home, from first-time wearers to seasoned contact lens users.
Contact lens consultation
We fit lenses to your eyes, not the other way round. A proper fitting means comfort, safety and the right type for your lifestyle, whether that is daily wear, sport, or something more specialised.
Treatments
Real relief, not just a referral.
Where more focused care is needed, our dedicated clinics handle it in-house, without sending you elsewhere for the parts that matter most.
Ortho-K
A non-surgical option that reshapes the cornea overnight using specially designed lenses. A popular choice for slowing short-sightedness in children, and for adults who would rather skip daytime glasses or contacts.
Red eye treatment
Irritated, inflamed or infected eyes seen and treated promptly, without needing to wait for a GP referral. We assess the cause and get you the right treatment quickly.
Dry eye treatment and IPL
Diagnosis and in-practice treatment for gritty, tired, or watery eyes, including intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy for chronic cases. Relief that is built for screen-heavy, air-conditioned Inner West lives, with results that build over a short course.
Assessments
Understanding how you actually see.
Beyond the standard chart, we look at focus, tracking, and comfort, the things that quietly affect how you read, work, and live.
Digital eye strain assessment
For anyone finishing the day with tired eyes, headaches or vision that just feels off. We look at how your eyes cope with hours of screen time and build a plan around your actual working day.
We look beyond 20/20 to how your eyes work together, focusing, tracking, and teaming, and how that shapes reading, learning, and comfort at a screen.
Technology
Looking deeper, with the right tools.
Beyond the standard chart, our imaging technology lets us see inside the eye itself, catching changes early, often before you would notice anything yourself.
3D OCT scans
A detailed, layer-by-layer scan of the retina and optic nerve, similar in principle to an ultrasound but using light instead of sound. It picks up early signs of conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration, well before they would affect your vision.
Retinal photography
A high-resolution photograph of the back of your eye, capturing the retina, macula, optic nerve, and blood vessels. It gives us a clear record to check against at future visits, so we can spot any changes over time.
What to expect
Your eye test, step by step.
Not sure what happens once you sit down in the chair? Here is how a typical visit unfolds, from check-in to walking out with a plan.
01
Check-in
A quick chat at the front desk, your details confirmed and any health fund or Medicare card ready to go.
02
Talk it through
We ask about your day-to-day, any symptoms, and your history, so the exam is built around you, not a script.
03
The examination
Vision, eye health and, where needed, retinal imaging. Unhurried, with time for questions as we go.
04
Your plan
Results explained in plain language, with a clear next step, whether that is new glasses, a follow-up, or nothing at all.
